2X2TB Seagate Barricuda drives in raid 0 configuration in a Synology DS212J drive. Something happened (suspect electrical fault for both drives to fail) and now the drives won’t even startup. I would like to recover all photos and videos.
I have a drive from an VMWare ESXi server and not in RAID, the drive clicks and crashes the server when reading. Its a 3tb Hard Drive with around 2tb of Data.
I have a Silicon Power A60 external hard drive which I have had for just over a year. I went to use the drive but the computer would not recognise it in Windows Explorer. It appears in Device Manager temporarily for around five/six seconds then goes again. When plugging it into a computer a red light comes on at the front of the HDD and it begins beeping. I’ve tried using USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports as well as using a powered USB hub to no avail. I have dropped it recently in the last week or so which may have contributed to this situation, but it worked for a couple of days after I’d dropped it. A lot of good information on http://www.blogster.com/diskdriverepair/ has been beneficial, I still need assistance in getting the data back though.
Just querying whether you are able to recover photo’s from a completely dead iPhone 5. I’ve sent it to standard data recovery people and had no luck and been advised a chip off could be a possible option to get back lost photos.
